Sawmill Services
Our Wood-Mizer LT40hd bandsaw mill is one of the most capable portable sawmills available. We can come directly to your property and set up on-site, or you can haul your logs to our yard in Wichita — whichever works best for you.
The $100/hr rate covers everything: loading and unloading your logs, full setup, milling, and stacking. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Drying Services
The most important step after your logs are milled into usable slabs or lumber is to plan your drying. We offer air drying and kiln drying up to 16’ long.
Air drying cost for wood up to 5/4 in thickness is $1.25 per board foot. 5/4 and over is $1.80 per board foot.
Kiln drying costs for wood up to 5/4 in thickness is $1.75 per board foot. 5/4 and over is $2.00 per board foot.
Slabs For Sale
We maintain an extensive, ever-rotating inventory of live-edge slabs and dimensional lumber right here in Wichita. Every piece is Kansas-sourced, properly dried, and ready for your project — whether you're a hobbyist, a furniture maker, or a contractor.
Stock includes black walnut, white oak, red oak, sycamore, hackberry, honey locust, pecan, ash, mulberry, maple, cedar, osage orange, exotics, and more. Inventory changes constantly — contact us to schedule a yard visit and see what's available.
